Updates...& Happy Holiday's

Well it has been a while since my last post...we had a good Thanksgiving and a great Christmas! The boys have been playing with their new train table that Santa Claus brought them pretty much every waking moment since they got it...of course with lots of fighting involved. I don't understand why no one warned me about the amount of fighting involved with multiples. It is crazy! I told my mom we needed Santa Claus to bring two train tables, but we decided that they need to learn to share...now it is up to me to see how much fighting I can take before I buy another one!

We got to take pictures with Santa this year and they did really good. I had to sit in on the pictures though to get them to stay there.

We also got to go to the Christmas stroll this year with the boys...They loved the parade and started to watch the Polar express movie they were playing.

We will see how tonight goes with the fireworks...last year they were pretty scared of the noise, this year I don't think that will be our problem! Happy New Year to everyone!

Our 3rd Birthday!

The boys turned 3 last Sunday (Oct 17) and we spent the day with Thomas the Train. They are really into trains and tractors now so we took them to Rusk, TX to ride the train...they actually had Thomas there and they were thrilled. It was a long drive, but well worth it! We met some of our family there and had a great birthday party. It is so hard to believe they are 3 now! They are growing up too fast!

FAIR TIME

Last week was the Washington County Fair and we took the boys for the first time. It is hard to imagine that three years ago that week (sept. 19, 2007) Lane's water broke and I was in the hospital for a long ride! We all have come so far since then and are still on the crazy ride of triplets chaos. Anyway, the fair was great for them. They are the perfect age to enjoy the tractors, which they are in love with, and all of the animals, but I know in about 13 years or so it will be all about the beer and girls. Can't wait!!!

SCHOOL

Hello everyone - so sorry it has been a while since I have updated this, but we have been super busy! The boys started school in August and we have been going non stop since then. They started at Grace Lutheran Day school last month and are doing great. They are in the Pre-K2 class with Mrs. Beckendorf. They are loving school and their new friends. They cried for the first week but now they go running in happy as can be usually!

They love their backpacks! They are so cute!

Angel faces

My mom is a picture taking-aholic! She kept the boys the other day and she really got some cute shots of my little Angel faces!

Schlitterbahn!!!

Thursday we took the boys to Schlitterbahn and they had a blast! They really have a lot of fun things for children now. All three of the boys love swimming and are big water bugs! I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about going...take nothing but the kids. They have no ramps only stairs and lots of them. We were so exhausted carrying strollers and wagons and coolers up and down stairs! Here are a few picts from our adventure.

Lane accidentally ended up going down the big slide backwards...he was trying to get off and ended up sliding backwards. It was hilarious and he laughed when he hit the water!

Summer Fun & Potty Training

This summer has been fun and hot! We have done a lot of new things and we are working on potty training too. This past week Shannon (the nanny) took the boys to the skating rink for the first time and they skated. They did great she said. They held on to the wall and skated around the rink. Also last Friday the City of Brenham opened the Carousel at the park and offered free rides, so we took the boys and they had a blast! Below are a few pictures of the different things we have done so far. I think this week we are going to Schlitterbahn and possibly to Rusk to ride the Train!
Lane being shy in his underoos. He is really doing well with the potty training thing. I pretty much put him in his underwear all day and he tells me when he had to potty! Hopefully he will get the real hang of it soon!

Wyatt sporting his Thomas the Train underoos. We are working on it slowly but surely!

This is a picture of the boys at the skating rink with their little skates on!

The Siemsglusz Triplets Birthday Party

I recently got some pictures from my friend, Adrienne, of her triplets first birthday party. Addison, Collin, & Bryce turned one in June! We did actually get some of both sets of triplets together which was interesting. Out of probably 100 pictures taken, these are the best we could get. It is so amazing how our lives have come full circle since Adrienne is really the one that got Ryan and I together.

Just Jeans

I am sure everyone has seen the "blue jeans" version of the Huggies diapers. Well a friend of mine, Adrienne, who has triplets also (the Siemsglusz triplets) had them on hers the other day and I thought they were so cute. I decided to buy some and put the boys in them just to take a few pictures. A local radio station in Houston was doing a "Just Jeans" photo submission and I sent them one of the boys in their "just jeans" diapers. It is really hard to get them to cooperate, but they love to say "cheese".

Big Boy Haircuts

On Friday Ryan and I took the boys to get a haircut at Sports Clips. It was interesting to say the least. It was pouring rain and the boys were not exactly happy about their haircuts. They cried, but eventually overcame their unhappiness when the girls there gave them some suckers. This is our second time to go there and get them done, they are great there and really good with the boys crying.

Forth of July

We hope that everyone had a great July 4th! We had an awesome time at our first parade. We went to the Round Top parade Sunday morning with Nana and Grandpa and the Rohde Family. The boys had a blast! Afterwords we went to the Rohde home place where Brad and Jane live now for a BBQ - it was fun and HOT! Then we went to the lake to celebrate aunt Nae Nae's birthday. We tried to stay awake for fireworks but it did not work out...maybe next year!

This is a picture of the boys climbing on the fence at the barn on the Rohde home place where their great grandpa Rohde grew up.

They were in amazement of all the things they saw at the parade including this longhorn steer.
They were exhausted and hot when it was all over...grandpa pulled them in their wagon back to the car.

OMG...they love tractors and got to see a lot of them!
