Toddler Life

Well we finally have two down and one to go. Lane and Wyatt are potty trained for the most part, but we are still working on Reid. Finally my diaper bill is cut by 2/3!!!

Also the we have adjusted into our new toddler beds. They boys are doing really good in them and love to sleep in their "new beds". No one has fallen out yet, but they really don't have far to fall in these. Here is a picture below of Wyatt asleep in his new bed with a package of Oreo's in his hand.
We have also run into the terrible three's...age and number of children:)! They have become very sneaky and very mischievous! This is a picture of one morning about 4:30 a.m. they decided to get up and play in their room with a bottle of powder. Yes, baby powder! It was so bad, I just had to laugh...and did a lot of cursing while cleaning it up for 2 hours. The morning before they dumped the whole box of gold fish down from the top of the stairs! Needles to say, they have started to figure out things to get into just when I thought I had it all put up and out of their line of sight. Seems like they are evolving, so I guess that means I have to start thinking like a 3 year old boy (or maybe I will just ask Ryan what he sees:))...but it is still fun and they definitely don't give me a break!
Another family portrait - tt-ing on the rocks! Go Grandpa!
And most everyone knows about the snow we have had for the past 3 years in a row! They like it, but soon discovered it was COLD and it was much warmer inside. So we played a little, but not long and back inside we went. Of course this did not let us escape the dreaded cold/flu/mess that has been going around. We all have been so sick for the past two weeks. Wyatt had RSV and pneumonia last week and the other two have just been snotty and running fever. Then of course mommy and daddy get it and it knocks us both down with fever and bronchitis, then Nana and Grammy have it now....love those germs! Hopefully we are mostly over it now, everyone in the family is on antibiotics (against my judgement), but we just could not shake it this time! uggh!

Updates...& Happy Holiday's

Well it has been a while since my last post...we had a good Thanksgiving and a great Christmas! The boys have been playing with their new train table that Santa Claus brought them pretty much every waking moment since they got it...of course with lots of fighting involved. I don't understand why no one warned me about the amount of fighting involved with multiples. It is crazy! I told my mom we needed Santa Claus to bring two train tables, but we decided that they need to learn to share...now it is up to me to see how much fighting I can take before I buy another one!

We got to take pictures with Santa this year and they did really good. I had to sit in on the pictures though to get them to stay there.

We also got to go to the Christmas stroll this year with the boys...They loved the parade and started to watch the Polar express movie they were playing.

We will see how tonight goes with the fireworks...last year they were pretty scared of the noise, this year I don't think that will be our problem! Happy New Year to everyone!

Our 3rd Birthday!

The boys turned 3 last Sunday (Oct 17) and we spent the day with Thomas the Train. They are really into trains and tractors now so we took them to Rusk, TX to ride the train...they actually had Thomas there and they were thrilled. It was a long drive, but well worth it! We met some of our family there and had a great birthday party. It is so hard to believe they are 3 now! They are growing up too fast!

FAIR TIME

Last week was the Washington County Fair and we took the boys for the first time. It is hard to imagine that three years ago that week (sept. 19, 2007) Lane's water broke and I was in the hospital for a long ride! We all have come so far since then and are still on the crazy ride of triplets chaos. Anyway, the fair was great for them. They are the perfect age to enjoy the tractors, which they are in love with, and all of the animals, but I know in about 13 years or so it will be all about the beer and girls. Can't wait!!!

SCHOOL

Hello everyone - so sorry it has been a while since I have updated this, but we have been super busy! The boys started school in August and we have been going non stop since then. They started at Grace Lutheran Day school last month and are doing great. They are in the Pre-K2 class with Mrs. Beckendorf. They are loving school and their new friends. They cried for the first week but now they go running in happy as can be usually!

They love their backpacks! They are so cute!

Angel faces

My mom is a picture taking-aholic! She kept the boys the other day and she really got some cute shots of my little Angel faces!

Schlitterbahn!!!

Thursday we took the boys to Schlitterbahn and they had a blast! They really have a lot of fun things for children now. All three of the boys love swimming and are big water bugs! I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about going...take nothing but the kids. They have no ramps only stairs and lots of them. We were so exhausted carrying strollers and wagons and coolers up and down stairs! Here are a few picts from our adventure.

reid...not too sure about this!

Lane accidentally ended up going down the big slide backwards...he was trying to get off and ended up sliding backwards. It was hilarious and he laughed when he hit the water!
